ISIS/ISIL conflict in Syria/Iraq (No OpEd, No Politics)

Re: 2014 ISIS attack in Iraq: News, Views, Photos, Videos

First of all this proves CCP should stop blaming it on the uiyghurs because it's not fair to them. There are fked up people everywhere regardless of skin color, and this idiot probably is another brainwashed ignorant bigot buying into some form of propaganda from somewhere .

On the contrary, we can hope he's an agent, but that's borderlining wishful thinking

It is unfortunate for Syria and its people but it might be a fortunate reminder to everyone else that there are a lot worse options than even a mediocre authoritarian government.

Very well put......

Being an Old Salt I found this photo interesting. Why is Bataan transferring weapons to George H.W.Bush?. Especially when a person considers that Bataan deployment was extended for three weeks. What are they??...Could be Sidewinders, AMMRAM, Maverick or HARM missiles. ..

ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 20, 2014) Aviation ordnancemen from the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) attach a cargo hook to an SA-330J Super Puma helicopter during a vertical replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). Bataan is the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The CCP is not blaming the Uighur they're blaming the World Uyghur Congress and their NGO agents for trying to create civil strife and separation among the Uyghur's living in China.

USN does not have bunker busters. I'm very sure those containers carry missiles. Yep..Besides Bunker Busters are 3,000 lbs. the biggest bomb the USN uses are Mk84 2000 pound bombs.

Probably was faster to transfer munitions from Bataan rather than have them shipped from Yorktown VA or Earle NJ..

The old name for Iraq was called Mesopotamia / Babylon in ancient time.
This is a historical and biblical place and yet so much turmoil is happening there

A reminder of history ...
IRAQ in the BIBLE
INTERESTING…

1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.
2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization.
3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.
4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.
5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq.
6. Isaac's wife Rebecca is from Nahor, which is in Iraq.
7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.
9 Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
10. Amos cried out in Iraq.
11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.
12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq.
13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq.
(Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)
14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the 'writing on the wall' in Iraq.
15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.
16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
17. The wise men were from Iraq.
18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The 'Empire of Man' described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a city in Iraq.

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq means country with deep roots.
Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.
No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq.

And also ... This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle,
Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages ...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)
Koran ( 9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!)

True for the most part but keep in mind the modern Iraq is not the traditional Mesopotamia, modern Iraq was created at the fall of the ottoman empire and contains the lions share of Kurdistan, parts of traditional Syria, Traditional Persia and Jordan as well.

I mean I'm referring them to saying the terrorists are uiyghur origin as in their ethnicity..unless they're referring to WUC like you said.

Honestly though, I totally won't be surprised if WUC does eventually work with IS and the likes.

Or better yet, fire Tomahawks at them IS and melt their sorry bigot butts.

If the PLA gets involved (wishful thinking), it will be the best time for giving the PLASOF some real-life experiences in counter-insurgency and CT.

Seriously though, everything feels more and more like Command and Conquer Generals..
