This is not a joke they even had Facebook pages promoting their terrorist group. And Facebook blocked them.

A toy soldier available on Rezji.com, an Indonesian site which by Tuesday could not be accessed, holds a gun in its hands and an ISIS flag with the Islamic tenet: "There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God."

Lol TerraN_EmpirE the action figures are already a reality... This is the new 21st century terrorist group making facebook groups, selling merchandise, and making twitter accounts.

Idiotic of them actually.

In today's world, electronic transactions are like a neon highway to your accounts. They will not make much money off of such things.

It will also give intelligence agencies a lot of info about them, who they do business with, and ultimately lead to those within their organizations actually involved in this stuff.

The NSA is probably flagging anyone especially in the US who bought any of those ISIS products. Watching the media making a hub-bub about how in tune ISIS is with modern media is pathetic. Recently they were upset that ISIS was making movie-like productions advertising themselves? Like they have a monopoly to complain? Are they trying to tell them to stop! Boo hoo hoo! Just like these commercial products for sale... I think this is the new age of social media at work and it's an unleashed genie they cannot control. My bet is Obama will soon employ these tactics to inspire groups around the world to rise up against countries he has a problem with.

ISIS just got up to 25.000 new battle-hardened fighters. Let's see how long it takes before groups from Islamic Front start joining ISIS and there is up to 60.000 of them in all...

Al-Qaeda’s Syrian offshoot has issued a loyalty pledge to Isis at a remote town on the Iraqi border, a monitor said.
The merger is significant as it opens the way for Isis to take control of both sides of the border at Albu Kamal in Syria and al-Qaim in Iraq, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Isis – which aspires to create an Islamic state that straddles Iraq and Syria – has spearheaded an lightening jihadist offensive that has captured swathes of territory north and west of Baghdad this month.

After months of clashes between the two sides, al-Qaeda’s official Syrian arm the al-Nusra Front “pledged loyalty to Isis” in Albu Kamal, said Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman.

“The pledge comes amid advances by Isis in Deir Ezzor province” in eastern Syria on the Iraqi border, Abdel Rahman told AFP.

Tired of being asked to jump through hoops by Washington re the sale of F-16's and no doubt unimpressed by Mr Kerry's overtures for his departure, Mr Maliki has sealed a deal with Russia and Belarus to buy some older model Flankers.

"God willing within one week this force will be effective and will destroy the terrorists' dens," he said.

He said that the process of buying US jets had been "long-winded" and that the militants' advance could have been avoided if air cover had been in place.

"I'll be frank and say that we were deluded when we signed the contract [with the US]," Mr Maliki said.

"We should have sought to buy other jet fighters like British, French and Russian to secure the air cover for our forces; if we had air cover we would have averted what had happened," he went on.

He said Iraq was acquiring second-hand jet fighters from Russia and Belarus "that should arrive in Iraq in two or three days".

A very strategic decision by Moscow I think!

The only way such a force can be "active in one week," (as the artcile says Malaki indicated) is if the Russians themselves fly them in and use them to attack the ISIS forces.

We shall see if they actually do so.

If they do...and are effective in blunting the offensive...well, Putin will have trumped amd thumped Obama (and very embarassingly so)...again.

I know I am not surprised.

Obama could have helped in this fashion from the start but he chose not to. His purely intellectual, high browed ideals and desires are fine in theory, but in the world of Real Politic...they are simply brushed aside by actions that make a difference now. Putin understands this.

To surpress and elimate the ISIS threst, Russia needs to bring in a couple squadrons of KA-50s. They would much more effective than just strictly Flankers IMHO.

I agree with the concept kwa perhaps not the platform. The Flankers are not the best answer, what the Iraqis need is not a air superiority platform. They need close air support. KA50's would do the job but hell so would Havocs, Hinds and hips. The best Russian option would be a squadron of Su27 frogfoots. They're just about the Russian answer to the American A10. But even with those the Iraqis biggest need is competent commanders and ground troops.

I wonder if Russia would just make a buck here and there from renting out military services.

Maybe they are going to bomb terrorist from high up and avoid getting close to MANPAD range?
