PLA border guards using 95s mounted with QMH191 IR scopes. What's those cheap looking NVGs on their helmets? You do see them pretty often (especially in older PLA pics) and they seem way too small to be a PVS-14 equivalent

I believe that is the digital NOD with the designation, BBG 191-3, as shown in this video:

the PLA soldiers wear their NVG on the dominant side, it shows that they are not very familiar with how to use their NVGs. eventually they will learn that monocular NVGs are supposed to be worn on your weak side.

I don't get why this isn't already distributed to elite units. Clearly it isn't an issue of money already, the gear is literally there. It just needs to be given to the elite units that will make better use of it.

This is a high quality domestic copy of the flagship plate carrier (LV-119) of Spiritus Systems, a US supplier aimed mainly towards the civilian market. The USMC seems to have a similar vest based on this, although with noticeable modifications such as added PALS webbing. The copy being tested - TW-LV119 (with added "TW") is produced by UnionTac, another one of those Chinese "remake producers" similar to FMA. Surprisingly, it sells at a almost identical price to the original product, so I'm guessing it hopefully also shares a similar product quality
