Infantry Combat Equipment (non-firearm): Vests, Body Armor, NVGs, etc.

Any update on Djibouti peace keepers ? Are they equipped with new uniform, vest and guns ? I think they should have been the first troops to be issued modern kits.

If these are domestic tubes, and if they are mass producible, perform adequately over time, and not exorbitantly expensive, I suppose the question is whether the new standard helmets are able to accommodate a proper NVG mount or whether they have to use the FAST style helmets which aren't issued as standard.

Does anyone know the original OEM/producer of the plate carrier, and/or if this is meant to represent any sort of new, standard procurement?

Manufacturer is known as Evolution Battle which can be found on Weibo. My statement might be incorrect but that is what i have from my intrepretation.

Those plate carriers are way too big. I would hate to wear those and try sitting around in those. It looks like they all got a standard one fits all size and they weren’t able to pick out their sizes? Or is that just their SOP? I’m 5’9 and 170 lbs and a medium SAPI feels uncomfortable to me.

It’s funny to see these photos because they have all of their high speed gear but the goggles are just too funny.

Where’s the comm gear/ear pro? Also what’s the point of those NODs when they don’t have IR/IFF strobes and IR illuminator on their weapons?

Do they not use have combat shirts/pants? Are those the standard flag patches or the camo/IR versions?
