Why do you think that photo was taken recently?
It was found in Weibo dont remember the date exactly but one of the reasons I replied to that.
I didn't it's what I found since researching PLA new gear is a pain.

I think it's an old photo from before Starry Sky was selected, back when the military was still trialing various combat uniforms.
Based on the photos that were leaked from those particular trials, I don’t think that photo was taken during that time. The reason is that the other pieces of equipment such as the headset, high speed plate carrier, IFF marker and FAST helmet aren’t for your average grunt (as of now). However it is highly possible that PLA or PAP SOF were conducting their own trials to test the private distributors’ equipment since their requirements are different from that of your average soldier/marine.
