Are you sure that pic is not from a movie? In the past, pics of fully kitted out spec ops soldiers were usually from a movie set.

On closer inspection, the patch on the user's right arm has a fist on it. I don't think any Chinese sof unit has that type of insignia.
Could be a sub unit or moral patch.
This does not feel right. Everything from the clothes to the guns is completely clean. No dust, no dirt, no sweat. Nothing in active use is ever completely clean and pristine. At the least this is completely posed with a model.
Its just the thor commando guy showboating off some gear thats all, he was not in practice during this picture.
I mean he is totally covered. Except for that patch by his wrist. So how would you see sweat?
This is pretty common. You will see swat teams in China also doing such pictures. It's just mostly showing off their gear, don't look too deep into it.
Except the starry sky pattern, the whole equipment is western style. Besides the 王威 guy is a retired veteran so I think its just some cosplay with aid from defense contractor.
