China promised railway network in Nepal as well but so far its on paper only on the other hand india has started laying railway tracks in nepal already
India is also making railway lines and opertionalizing waterways in Bangladesh

Let's me state some facts that your neglected to tell us about the railway line from India to Nepal, which opened in April this year.
  • It ended in Kurtha, Napal, about 10 miles from the Indian border and over 100 miles from Nepal's capital city Kathmandu.
  • It is a narrow gauge line with max speed of 100 km/h for passenger train and 65 km/h for freight.
  • It will not support HSR.
  • It runs on open plain so there is no technical challenge to overcome and per km cost is low. Several proposed extensions of the line all run along the planar areas of Nepal close to the Indian border.
  • To reach Kathmandu, it will have to go into the mountain region with significant engineering challenges and far more expensive to build.
The China-Nepal line is comparative much more expensive per km due to the fact that it has to cross over or through the Himalayas and is entirely located in the mountainous region of Nepal. China promised funding and engineering knowhow to build the line. But the affordability by Nepal is questionable and their government wants it essentially free. That is where the project is being stuck at right now.

On the India-Bangladesh line, is it HSR capable like Laos ? If not, then your assertion that India HSR can one day reach Singapore and Beijing is just a wet dream.

Even if India gets round to laying tracks, they will probably forget to order wagons and locomotives. As is happening now causing the coal-fired energy crisis during this heat wave.

The government, in 2022-23, has also come out with an order for nearly 90,000 wagons to be supplied in the next three years, in order to meet the shortfall of wagons in the industry.

Now they suddenly want to open 100 coal mines. Where's the planning brah.

That doesn’t prove anything Indian railways is running locomotives , laying tracks and preparing dpr for future projects in Nepal while China is happy with CGI only
Same is true in case of chinese railways in Bangladesh India is laying tracks while China is making CGI soon Indian railways and roadways will enter Myanmar Thailand Vietnam and Cambodia

Why does a midget always insist he's 6 ft tall? I could never understand that misplaced confidence because it's just delusional.

Dude, you need to realize that India as of now (it could change down the road) isn't at China’s level in any meaningful sense period. There's not a country that's concern about India and that's not because it's the largest democracy nonsense you folks keep on pushing. It's just that in terms of natural strength and potential the one being feared and that's causing your previous colonial master (Britain) and your current one (U.S.) sleep is China.

From China's perspective the development of infrastructures on the countries part of BRI and China’s close neighbors are a great thing for a greater economic integration and business opportunities for Chinese businesses plain and simple. We're never scared to do business with and against any Patel, Kumar, Johnny, Gringo etc...

I hope India keeps building these super duper infrastructures at a faster rate than China so that China won't have to do diddly squat but simply able to export it's products being ordered from internet enterprises like Alibaba using Chinese 5G, from their Chinese made phones, taking Chinese made motor vehicles...

Feed your people first, provide adequate infrastructures in your own country, cut down your red tape and protectionist policies that discourage Foreign companies to invest in your country.

And like I said, you have to surpass Bangladesh first before you can even dare to challenge China okay buddy. I wish nothing but the best for India but your delusional nonsense is just LOL..
