Hong-Kong Protests

Rioters can stay out but if you were just a regular "brainwashed" yellow or forced by peer pressure... you are welcome back if you have learnt your lesson.

This isn't even me memeing, this effect of becoming more patriotic after going overseas and seeing the world for what it is was exactly what Zhang Weiwei was talking about during this talk.

People who discover patriotism this way can sometimes be much more fanatical about it than regular Chinese people, in similar effect to born again Christian. DPP for example is extremely weary of ex-green people who turn to be pro-mainland after a trip there.

May these Hong king protesters suffer a life full of pain and agony for the rest of their days, that they are used up like useful condoms and abandoned quite quickly. Also may the USA enjoy their world falling apart for funding this bullcrap. The only thing I learnt from this entire fiasco is that these HK protesters haven’t suffered remotely enough for the harm done and if the allegations are true that the Ukrainians helped in the protests, I sure hope they enjoy having their nation torn apart by Zelenskyy stupidity

This guy isn't kidding.
I was reading an article on a news reader about this and they used the words "Pro-democracy" like 15,000 times.
"Pro-democracy candidates were disqualified and therefore Pro-democracy parties were shut out. Pro-democracy parties won a prior election in a landslide bla bla bla." Pavlovian stuff really.

Ok, I don't know why two stupid Azov guys equals Ukrainian government involvement. Just think for a second, you think a country that is as poor as Ukraine has money to spend on these things? People need to think critically sometimes.

Azov is integrated into Ukrainian territorial defense, so yes. It would be equivalent of US sending national guards.

If they are not representatives then government has responsibility to clarify and prosecute.

If 2 PLA members are storming White House after election you can be sure China will be held responsible, and rightfully so.
I once visited HK when I was still member of CF Reserves, does that make me a representative of the Canadian military?

Also your understanding of law is completely flawed, the country that you committed a crime in has the responsibility to prosecute (unless you are a US military rapist based in Japan).

Your hypothetical is completely specious. It is not based in reality and thus proves nothing.

That depends, were you rioting in HK? If you did, yes it would be fair to accuse Canadian government of stirring trouble in the region. If you were drunk and beat up a few people it is just on you. If you stirring for a revolution it is different.
