White beggars have been seen in HK for years, now making a comback and seen frequently outside subway stations and near traffic lights. In my neighborhood years ago there was a white father and son (around 3 yrs old) on a sheet corner, I saw them again a day later at another location outside a subway station. Back then, people would give them a few bucks and talk to them because they were exotic, but not anymore now, the novelty wore off... and they're just lazy, just sitting there... at least play an instrument or something.
