Yes....(Well, most regions have a variety that looks likes brown and in strips...) but with chili peppers.

Chives box really aren't a box, its like a massive version of dumpling but its fried, and it contains egg, 粉絲, chives and other stuff like shrimps (the tiny ones) etc.
I like 味味一品 酸菜牛肉麵 (Preserved vegetables beef noodles.)

God how to choose? I guess at a pinch I'd have to go with Crispy Peking Duck! Not the Beijing variety because I quite like the meat - the crispy skin and moist duck goes together very well.

But I love plenty of other things too like ramen and Sichuan-style beef.

Re: Whats your Favourite Asian Food?

I love duck (well, any bird, except for American grown chickens and improperly roasted turkeys) and its good. It has more flavour and a much more durable texture than chicken (Hence why I hate US chicken. They don't have any poultry flavour and I almost never trust outsiders when it comes to cooking chicken...they get so rough!)

For some reason you never see boneless duck meat.....only with chicken and occasionally pigeon.

As for roasted duck: What's so special about Peking Duck? I don't see the difference, maybe my tongue has tasted rich food most of my life and I can't taste subtle differences, but I don't see why you can't do the same for HK/GZ/GD roasted duck and vice versa.

Peking duck is the one with the crispy skin that you put on a bun or panbread with Tian Mien Jiang. Then you are served soup with bones and marrow.

Thing is, most if not all roasted duck has a crispy skin...... just that your serving style is different and that your ducks have extra high cholestrol or otherwise you wouldn't be able to slice the skin.

There's a soup made from the roasted bones? What do y'all do with the meat?

In the UK the skin is left on the meat. You eat it inside thin pancakes with optional hoy-sin sauce, spring opinions and cucumber slices.

味味一品? Never heard of that brand.
Over here, you can find instant noodles from all over Asia if you find the right store, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, etc. Nissin and Nong Shim are found at all stores.

I never really look at the brands though. I've never had Zhong Hua Yi Wei and don't think I've had Chef Kong either. My family tried a new brand of instant noodles from Taiwan before (forgot name), but we thought there was too much pepper in the soup base though.

Spring onions? Don't they have leeks in the UK? I mean, for a single crop of leek you can substitute many bundles of green onions...just seems kinda silly. Cucumber? Is it a twist or is it not Beijing style?

The pancakes are unflavoured I am sure, so it shouldn't ruin the taste. Are the pancakes like the stuff you use for Mushu?
