lol, there is indeed no need to do this in this airshow........yet it is shown on a big screen.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but this seems to be another signal that H-20 is still very much on the PLA docket, despite rumours to the contrary.
see this my old massage ..

project is well on track..
all this discussion triggered by a random dude on Weibo .. LOOL

i have said this before, Weibo is unhealthy. this social media platform have way more false information.. only trusted accounts are fine..

he is deputy commander of PLAAF and representative in National people's congress.. highest political authority of PLAAF in NPC.

when deputy commander of the PLAAF has made it clear that this (China has the ability to develop H-20 without bottlenecks) is the case. How could there still be people who think that the water (H-20) has become cold (cancelled)?

H-20 project going absolutely well and nothing has changed..

Xian has finished development of the Y-20. The Y-20A is just a minor change so it would not need a lot of resources. It is quite clear they are devoting resources to the stealth bomber project.

I suspect something happened which made them reconsider or redesign the project. Maybe it was the availability of the WS-15 engine, or maybe it was the unveil of the B-21 Raider. But H-20 should have been unveiled already.

It’s the paradigm shift towards even greater networked operations in future doctrine most probably.

yeah that's right but it doesn't make sense. there was no need to do this in Airshow..

what-if-look alike B-21 accompanied by US fighters to attack "something or someone"

Chinese will nev
But with F-22A fighters as an escort? Looks more like a what-if-look alike B-21 accompanied by US fighters to attack "something or someone"

NIce video, but strikes me as the product of an over eager video artist.

Just noticed Huitong has updated his site with an update on the H-20 with this

Not sure what‘s the source or its meaning, but at least after the recent desaster with the alleged „first public appearance“ at Zhuhai, this seems to be more legit!

@huitong … any more info on this?

The trailing edge leading up to the tail is a bit odd, presenting a flat on perspective to the rear aspect.

I hope this ain’t it since the rear treatment doesn’t seem optimized for stealth.
