H-20 bomber (with H-X, JH-XX)

Additional info by @horobeyo:

Roughly translated:

"Assume that a dual-engine stealth fighter-bomber with an empty weight of 22 tons, internal fuel of 20 tons, with a maximum weapon payload of 14 tons, a maximum take-off weight of 50-55 tons, and a range of 6,000 kilometers can be produced - The JH-XX can take-off from the non-coastal regions with deep strategic depth (buffer?) such as Jiangxi or Anhui in mainland China to strike Guam."

Seems like Yankee is refering to the JH-XX. Dear moderators, kindly move the discussion to the H-20/JH-XX thread.

If that JH-XX by Shenyang is a true fighter-bomber instead of a pure 6th-gen fighter, I'm thinking of a max takeoff weight of ~60+ tons for the JH-XX. This is judging by how the large-size, heavy-weight 5th-gen fighters of today are already edging closer to 40 tons of max takeoff weight, hence I do believe that the max takeoff weight of 6th-gen fighters should be well into the 40-ton range, or even approaching/crossing the 50-ton mark.

In the meantime, I'm indeed curious - How is it possible for Shenyang to work on both the 6th-gen fighter and the JH-XX simultaneously?? Do they have a massive developmental team?
it is Chengdu Aerospace Corporation that is working on 6th generation fighter jet..

Shenyang is busy with J-35 and JH-XX if this recent rumors are true..

Therefore, I don't think that the JH-XX having only ~6000 kilometers of range is realistic, considering that the JH-XX (which is already expected to be considerably larger in size than the J-20) is most likely to utilize two WS-15 engines with super-cruise capabilities as well. Yankee could be referring to a range of 10000 kilometers, IMHO, though I can't be exactly sure...
Doesn’t need supercruise, just dash. They can expand the bypass ratio, get more efficiency, and thus range.

Enough speed to retreat rapidly in a dash to diminish interception chances would be nice indeed.

Smaller than a strategic bomber but big enough to have enough range to engage way past the first island chain outward undetected, would cut a lot of movements opportunity from naval forces in the region in the case of confict.

Something that can launch antiship missiles without being detected until launch would be quite a strong deterent.
