There is no H-18. Originally 601 was working on a long range design (but not a heavy bomber). During the first half of this year AVIC did some rearranging of the items and the long range design item is now handled by another institute for sure.

So, according to what is claimed by Pupu, there is indeed a long range bomber in early study or development. What is not clear from the above is whether he meant "H-18 designation" doesn't exist, or the bomber development is not called H-18, which itself is a different development.

Long ranged bomber maybe the B-2 like flying wing design. Hui Tong added the following designations to his blog :

H-18 : medium-range/medium-sized bomber (expected to replace the H-6)
H-20 : long-range strategic bomber (a "strategic project" that is gaining full speed at 603/XAC)

But if that H-18 does not exist - at least from SAC/601 - as stated by Pupu ... what designer / manufactor will build it then ??

Guess that 7,500 km bomber mentioned in the Free Beacon's copy of the leaked USCC 2013 Report is probably different from the "H-18" then*.

*They said 7,500 mile ranged bomber, but that could be a typo.

Maybe 603/XAC? After all JH-7/7A, H-6(A-K) are all from them. I certainly hope SAC/601 won't get involved with next gen bombers. So maybe there are two bomber projects for XAC one being a medium range bomber replacing H-6 and the other a long range (perhaps intercontinental) bomber. Designation H-18, H-20 may not be correct but there maybe 2 bomber projects at XAC. The long-ranged project perhaps has the highest priority.

Regarding the medium bomber, maybe 601/SAC -up (unsurprisingly) and it was forwarded to 603/XAC or 601/SAC design lost out to 603/XAC. Either the way if SAC is not involved thats probably a good thing.

I think Pupu has a credibility problem or he intentionally spreads misinformation. He's also perpetuated rumors of a certain notorious deal that has not come to pass yet.

What model is Huitong talking about because I believe he's stated before the black model was a cancelled project or something like that?

To admit I for myself won't disdredit his credibilitly ... since as reported from most reliable leaks, the negotiations are still ongoing and anything will - if ever - reported in 2014.

Regarding that bkack model and so far all our asumptions that this might be from SAC it makes perfectly sense if 601/SAC lost this project - as such the black model shown was the losing contender - and the new design was forwarded to 603/XAC.
