This month we've had five waves of Americans going to Taiwan: every single one of them wanted to talk about TSMC.
So we know US really really wants to rob ROC of TSMC, and they fact that they keep going shows ROC is actually resisting.

You see how in this announcement they didn't say anything about US coming to their aid but it's all about them by themselves fighting off PLA? They will then use this to go back to the Americans and say "you see what you made me do? My people are asking me: if the Americans won't come to our defense why should we give up TSMC?"

Turns out it's range table for some key features of Xiamen as well as a map of of the base.
I would note that ROCA has marked Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center as a possible target.

Due to the difficulties of hitting a drone in the air ROCA is sending their best snipers to Kinmen and Matsu.

See what I think is happening here is CPC is trying to recreate the same sort of atmosphere as Kinmen artillery duel (but doing it with plausible deniability without using PLA), to make Taiwanese feel that war is just around the corner. Right now they are too relaxed. Then we'll see who really wants independence enough to sign up for military service.

There really should be a grey PLA operation to drop leaflets on Taiwan using drones, ala the Taihoku Air Strike.

Smart, salami slicing ROC to make them made the first move without them realizing the are making the first move....reunification date could be nearer than we thought
