Its super hard to do this. This requires an elaborate structure and most importantly experience. The US has a well oiled coup machine as they've been practicing this for over a century & is a critical part of their foreign policy.

China is new in this and is still in learning phases. But for this to happen, China has to employ dirty tactics. Like for example what if this group you talk about tries to fleece China of its money or double cross you? What will China do about it? Stop the money? Thats it?

How many overseas assassinations has China carried out? Can China eliminate a foreign politician for double crossing them? CIA sure does and that's how they keep their assets in check. US has hundreds of mercenary groups across the world to carry out such acts, how many does China have?.

Money alone doesn't work, there needs to be an element of coercion alongside. The latter is lacking in Chinas Foreign Policy .
Well it's about time for China to start building up it's own covert activity capabilities then. Organizing a counter coup to topple a US coup is not such a bad idea. Its better than war. Now that Pelosi has lit the fuse. China has no more obligations to 'behave'.

China has the money. Especially that gigantic USD reserves whose value is starting to get increasingly dubious as time goes by. Channeling a small portion of that USD reserves into the black activities is also one way to get back the US.

I believe that China had already infiltrated the military and intelligence apparatus of the ROC. It's been a historical issue for the ROC. What they should do now is to strengthen the pro-China politicians, and civil movements. Also, give the Blue-camp more some more political strength. They are not pro-PRC, but they are a good step up to steer Taiwan away from independence ideas. Also gives China some level of plausible deniability.

About hiring guns. Mercenaries and hitmen can be bought up relatively quickly. Give them a good enough price, and you get better quality. Just don't be too cheap, or you get idiots. There is not really any moral threshold for China to cross. Chinese businesses are already hiring PMCs for security in dangerous areas of the BRI anyway.

Then again, China does not need to assassinate politicians. Killing the DPP criminals would technically martyr them. Best is to smear them and give their opposition ammo to hit them with. Engineer a scandal or something. DPP members are US assets, so they should have some dirt to dig up.

Off course all of these is much easier said than done. But being noble and passive won't help either. It's still better for China build up some muscle for it's own psy-ops and black-ops.

Where? And the helicopters belong to which military? What's the situation?

Please provide at least some elaboration/explanation to those links, so that viewers of this thread can know what's going on.
Photos were posted on the Guardian live thread.

They are PLA helos off Pingtan island.

According to the Host, yes for the 7th zone. Unable to copy the URL with the timestamp he mentioned this because it's a Live Stream, but he said that only minutes before I posted the stream here.

The west is labeling massive Chinese infrastructure investments in other countries as 'debt traps' with no effective pushback from China. If Chinese PR can't handle a low-hanging fruit like this then I fear the worst. And we've all seen the worst in the last several days.
China's soft power is fine. Regardless of Western accusations of "debt trap", China is

(emphasis mine), according to the Economist. Clearly, countries are eagerly lining up for Chinese loans.

So the West can continue to do all the lying Public Relations (PR) it wants; and China will continue to tell the truth and set some overwhelming facts on the ground.
