just that you guys know, the photos shown were taken by the same guy on the same boat. They were taken from different angle, at different type of day from different distance. I think he took the second set of photos because too many people thought it was 16 missiles after the first set, so he took more clear ones the second time around.

That just shows it's made (primarily) of steel not alloys which is a good thing for survivability post-impact. Nothing unusual about a brand new ship getting rusty, depends on the environment.

It's more likely to be just dirt of various kinds. There's all sorts of work going on on that scaffolding. Dirt plus water would explain the brown spots which look like something that's been trickling down the top of the ship. Once the work is done, i am sure they will clean it all up.

I know what arethey going to do with 536.. Replace HQ-7 with VLS..Haha.

Btw,the VLS of 054 looks like only 16 canister only.. 4 in front,4 at the back and 2 roll only...
