by the way it's MODULARITY as it should be (according to me, and not according to the US Navy): proven components arranged in several variants of one hull

I agree.

I think that the Fincantieri PPA patrol vessels are going to be very effective in several roles nad are following a good, achievable design model.

helicopter crashed for reasons unknown in the waters of the Strimonikos Gulf near Asprovalta, in northern Greece while taking part in SARISA 2016 exercise.

The footage below shows the helicopter crashing into the sea and capsizing. Fortunately, both crew members escaped safely.

The helicopter is believed to belong to either the 1st or 2nd Battalion of Attack Helicopters from Volos, central Greece.

This the third loss of D-model out of 12 initially procured by the Greek Army.

Well, I have updated things since.

That included an OHP Frigate, a Freedom Class, a Burke and a Ticonderoga.

The major classes of major surface combatants now include:

Ticonderoga AEGIS CG x 22
Burke AEGIS DDG x 64
Zumwalt Class DDG x 2 (in the water)
Freedom Class LCS x 7 in the water
Independence Class LCS x 7 in the water

Of course this does not include:

CVN (Nimitz + 1 Ford) x 11 in the water
Wasp Class LHD x 8 in the water
America Class LHA x 1 in the water
San Antonio Class LPD x 11 in the water
Whidbey Island and Harper's Ferry LSD x 12 in the water

...and of course also does not include the 54 SSNs, 4 SSGNs, and 14 SSBNs.

...but now I am getting long winded! LOL!

About the K130s: I could not exclude ships with such armament and capabilities; it would nto be fair for Germany. There are no such type in the rest four navies. The Floreals and A69s except the main gun and the SSM launchers that can carry if needed, they are not comparable to the K130s.

I always give the proper credits. And of course, I would definitely give credits to Jeff Head for his work (which I really admire) when I have the opportunity.

Thank you for your comments on my blog, I appreciate that!
