European Economics Thread

Would that be a bit hyperbolic isn't it?
Manufacturing is not doing well but they still have services.
Services are pretty useless outside of inflating numbers. Manufacturing is a modern economy's spine and THE pillar of national power. Without manufacturing, what would make the entire EU any different than, say, India? I actually think india would be ateeny tiny little bit better since it does actually have some heavy industries. The US is the exception here since dollar printer goes brrrrrrrr.
A good example of what would happen to EU economie if they rely mostly on services would be the UK. So unless they can somehow reverse this trend, I think they're doomed.

I was very specific when I said it was going to disintegrate, not collapse.

I.E The European Union is not set up to sustain the current challenges faced by the European Union. Ireland for example is set up well as a tax shelter + biotech manufacturing hub; Hungary as an emerging manufacturing hub with Chinese/Korean manufacturers. Germany/France - not so much.

Let’s call a spade a spade. The Europeans don’t have the natural resources to sustain themselves so all they have for a macro economic model is to literally be a welfare state built on leeching off of other countries. They are the very embodiment of “overcapacity”. So what are they doing? Fining and penalizing other countries companies’ success. Why don’t they have their own Facebook, Google, smartphones, and TikToks? All they’re doing is looking for excuses for penalizing them. They want to tariff Chinese EVs or force them to hand over technology because that’s what China did to their auto companies. When did China make successful ice engines to make that claim? Now they want to fine Chinese airlines because their airlines can’t fly faster over Russia due to their own sanctions. Then on top of that they claim Westerners are not going to China so they want to make money from Chinese flying to and from China and Europe. Now look at how they want to regulate artificial intelligence when they aren’t the leaders in it. They won’t be using Chinese AI so why expect China to follow? Again trying to have say so they can make money. Did you know that the DEI thing is being orchestrated by Europeans and Canadians and they’re making money from it at the same time charging consulting fees to international companies to make sure businesses comply. It’s all about making money from other peoples’ success and not their own. It’s the new imperialism laundered under the guise of business. They see a future dominated by others.

Those people who are representatives in the EU parliament, really do have their heads up their asses.

They kept wanting to punish China, over what? Who knows. They always want to mete out punishment over some issue.

Yet, in Europe, they only got 4 of top tech companies in the world in the top 50.

What are they really going to do? Sanction the textiles coming from China?

Guess they will, because, the EU is investigating SHIEN.

HAHAHAHA!

What a bunch of useless mofo's.

Industries on the leading of technology, or leading companies, then to make more money. That will not be the case in Europe, because of their lack of big time technology companies.

Yet, from this position of greatness, they try to threaten China with repercussions.
