Move the UN to a country like Singapore. Switzerland can’t be trusted.
I think the crisis has shown a lot of people that supposedly neutral organisations are not really neutral. Look how sporting associations are banning russia, musical places banning conductors over the issue, even cat fairs banning russian cats lol. The US also expelled 12 russian UN ambassadors because they knew they could get away with it.

UN should move to somewhere like Djibouti where there are military bases from countries all over the world.

Everyone miss the huge strategic change in Europe.

If Russia finish Ukriane , and integrate it , then will be the shock.

In that case the NATO is toast, have no more power than the Warsaw pact in 2022 .

The Russian political goal is not to occupy Ukraine, but to get rid of foreign forces from CE/EE, and make sure no one in her surrounding could do again that happens now with all of this sanctions.

BEFORE the Ukrainan invasion the request about Russia security concerns was addressed to the USA, AFTER the invasion it will be addressed to the individual European states.

I know lot of guy outside of Europe, and have no clue about the cultural memory, but trust me, if Russia will ask the Slovakians about " Please, guarantee your neutrality e, and that you won't sanction us" then do you think the Slovakians will refuse this request ?

I mean, of course, the USA is happy to send bombers , missiles and so on, and help to level Bratislava with few 10 000 civilian casualities, but the SLOVAKIANS KNOW IT.

First rule of the war as an average person is you don't want it.

And , please consider, if the SLovakians has to choice to use molotov coctails on Russian tanks, OR on the Slovakian goverment to force them to accept the Russian conditions and avoid the war, what do you think, which option will be prefered?

This is the reason why Lukasenko is in power, could make independent presentations that showing the future state of Ukraine.

Cooperate, and nothing will change, deny our request , and you will have war. OF course the USA happy to help, but even if the Slovakians won and evict the Russians they still have a destroyed country, economy and hectares of new cemeteries .

So, these are the end days of the USA centric world. The NATO could stay, but its importance will be no more than the European Agency for Railways.

Fully integrating Ukraine will cause huge changes in relationships for sure. Once they have a physical border I can see Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova either slowly warming up to Russia or on the other hand, becoming rabidly anti-russia like the Baltic states.

I think the current western perception of EU and NATO becoming more united than ever is too naive.

That was the Cold War.

The Americans often made the mistake believing the communist world was monolithic. It was not monolithic.

Today, the media tells us that NATO and the alliance lead by America is monolithic.

From the russian side being anti-russian will be as wellcomed from the countries sorrounding her borders like as accepted by the americans to be a country anti-american .

Means : You can say anything, but your actions has to stay in the (russian) accepted limits.

Cheering still mean nothing if there is no supplies coming through.

I just can't see how Russia will be able to seal the huge border with Poland against weapon & fighters smuggling. Assuming Ukraine could even be fully occupied, the insurgency could make the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan look like a cakewalk.

You have no clue about it .

There won't be any resistance.

The locals has no interest to support it, and without support there is no resistance.

Just think a bit, there is a huge russian minority, and have you ever heard of Russian resistance in Ukraine ?
