Not much. Not because she's a woman or part Indian and black. It's her educational background, training, and the way she has managed to climb at the number 2 spot in her country's domestic politics which in today's climate is really not saying much. I am sure she has her challenges as do with many of her contemporaries she competed for and against throughout the preceding decades. V.P. Harris like most of her American political class and colleagues are mostly insular a.k.a. Americanized in their outlook and see the world along with it's complex issues and problems strictly and almost exclusively from the American lense or prism. Regardless of their political ideology and party they all share or possess the same trait which is American exceptionalism/hubris. Which is pretty much the reason or reasons why America is finding herself in trouble and being challenged like never before. They have arrogantly assumed ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union that their economic and political system are the sole anathema to any and every world problems regardless of differing culture, history, backgrounds and people. Kamala Harris embodies these destructive traits and then some because people like her (urbane, progressive, liberal, minority) see themselves as the personification of what an American is supposed to be and could be. An evangelizing woke nutjob convinced of their ideological superiority that any country who resist their attempts of proselytising will be labeled in all sorts of ways i.e. cue human rights abuse, genocide blah blah..Ideological and cultural imperialists is what she is along with pretty much anyone in the political system of the U.S.

An Asian man can definitely become President, and the fact that Andrew Yang went from virtual nobody to beating established candidates with significant MSM support like Kamala Harris (who bombed out before primaries), Cory Booker, John Delaney, Beto O'Rouke, and Julian Castro is a testament to how far an Asian man can go. Andrew Yang was just too rigid and not cool (e.g. self-depreciative of Asian stereotypes which someone cool like Obama would never do to himself)
In fact his daughter recently came 2nd in the Peruvian presidential election.
Let's be real here, in order for any Chinese American to even have a shot of actually being elected as the U.S. PRESIDENT he or she must go through a lot of sucking up to the American establishment and repudiation of any Pro-China = pro-communism comments and or sense of being. He or she must regurgitate every progressive canard that the Democratic progressive wings push you to do or be as rah rah America is the bestest and God's great gift to mankind if one is running under the banner of the Republicans, not to mention as a Chinese heritage even if you're born and bred in America you must continue shitting on China so you're not least bit suspected of a commie sympathiser. The chances of any Chinese American or any Asian descent of becoming president is less than 20% unless you @Phead128 can come up with viable names that are even in considerations in the future. Andrew Yang? Lol can't even win the mayoral nomination in NYC for the democratic party since he hasn't paid his "dues." The man worked his butt off for the Biden/Harris ticket and at one point he even exclaimed that he was going to be a part of the Biden administration, where did that promise go? F.. Ng nowhere. Yang had more polling support than Harris yet she got the gig for VP simply because of demographics, social justice and the fact that Asian Americans have bought into the blacks are so oppressed we must help them achieve their dreams by forsaking ourselves at the altar of political correctness. Spare me the work hard and you'll get rewarded B.s. That only works in limited ways but not in political show in America.
I'd rather have the bluntness of the Republicans VS the sneaky and manipulative tactics that Demos love to use to great effect. That way the fence sitters in China who may perhaps cling into the false notion that America is a reasonable country and it's intentions noble and all that jazz will be abused of that notion strong and firmly enough to ensure that China must work quadruply hard to ensure the country's economic vitality and buoyancy becomes stronger ensuring that China's sovereignty will never ever be compromised again.
