No disrespect but you might have fallen to the US trick about having a true democracy and its people being unbiased while also having a source of independent media. In the following points I will try to demonstrate why thats not tru

Do you remember such a a wave of anti-China in the US public pre-Trump?

It is obvious that their hawkish Foreign Establishment went crazy about China and thus started a massive anti-China propaganda through the media against China.

Honest question. Do you think that the average Joe in Texas knows anything about China? What they know is what they are being told either from Fox News or from CNN. That the right-wing Fox news and left-wing CNN (and other media ofc) started at the same time, the propaganda against China means that the anti-China sentiment was not organic but manipulated by the establishment/Deep State.

As such no matter what China says or does, as long as western/US media are controlled by these organisations it means that China will never be able to reach to the American people without first passing the filter of the establishment-controlled US/Western media
Bingo! US public opinion on issues without a personal nexus are just lagged elite opinion.

Oh yes the logic the US won the Vietnam War just because they killed more Vietnamese than Vietnamese killed Americans.
The overarching goal of the US Cold War with China is to prevent China from ever being number 1. Thus all that matters in both Vietnam and Afghanistan that's transferrable is how much damage the US can do to the enemy vs. the opposite. The enemy can't do shit to the US, the US can do damage to them. The US military is encircling China but China doesn't have squat on San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle or Miami. The US can destroy China's urban eastern seaboard in hours and China can do *nothing* about it.

What you just stated has nothing to do with what I was talking about. There was something called the Vietnam syndrome where before Americans were confident in winning wars and then Vietnam happened and they lost that confidence because they lost. Simple as that.

Then why hasn't the US not gone to war with China since they always seem to get involved in a war every generation? No confidence? If the US wins because they can do more damage, how come they didn't win Vietnam and now Afghanistan...?

All you need is public consent. That's why the US is polling favorability about China so often and spreading the lies about Xinjiang & the lab leak. The US is building up for its eventual war with China so that American hegemony can live forever.

Yes that's propaganda. It works whether it's from the truth or not.

Yeah China only gets stronger everyday that passes that the US doesn't go to war. So why not go to war now? It's called no confidence because what's said in propaganda.
