Even though I liked the response from Beijing, the problem with China is it still feels safe. Like when China counters on trade issues, they emphasize how some action against China the US takes, Beijing will respond that it will hurt everyone while the US despite knowing it'll hurt them too will only emphasize how it'll hurt China. China's kumbaya approach doesn't work. A recent PEW poll said that around 90% of Americans have negative views on China. And that's why China is facing a hard line from US politicians because in a democracy they can lose their jobs if they don't do what what the people want despite if what they want is bad for the US. Look at anti-vaccine proponents in the US. Some Republicans who are vaccinated help perpetuate anti-vaccine disinformation. They do that because they don't want to get voted out of office. That's why Beijing has to stop with the kumbaya crap. Americans are okay with taking a hit if they believe China is hurting more and they always do because the propaganda tells them the US is stronger and they have confidence they will win in the end. When China admits something the US does is hurting China, that tells Americans they're winning so they ain't going to change. How naïve for China thinking that Americans have a heart that they will change if Chinese admit how much they hurt to them. Stuff like the US's failure in Afghanistan whittles away at their confidence. And China should be taking advantage just like the US would vise versa emphasizing at how only Americans will lose and suffer by the their politicians' actions.

It's not propaganda if it's true. Japan, Germany, the USSR, Japan (again), and the UK all tried to challenge US empire and now they are all stagnating economies after successful US contests and sabotage.

The truth is the best propaganda.
The US has the world's largest economy and will have it for at least into the 2030s.
The US is self-strengthening and investing trillions of dollars on physical & human capital and research & development.
The US is stronger and will win.

China's only advantage is it's population and the US can solve that problem with immigration (and that sabotages China too with brain drain AND it sabotages China by reducing AD in all of its trading partners)

More digression as usual. Everyone agrees the US's failure in Afghanistan is bad for the US's reputation. China is using the truth to scare Taiwan. Where's the lie?
Oh no, failure instead of mission creep and still busting the shit out of Afghanistan. If the contest between the US & China is whether American incumbency advantages will sustain themselves forever, then Afghanistan should tell you that even when the US looses, the US can inflict far more damage on the enemy than vice-versa and what that means for China is that the US can reduce China's GDP by 30% and the US won't even be damaged by 5% and thus the US will win, even if the immediate political consequences aren't achieved.

Oh yes the logic the US won the Vietnam War just because they killed more Vietnamese than Vietnamese killed Americans.

One news cycle, no matter how bad, does not mean Trump will win again. That being said, China will not concede its industrial policy especially now that its being mimicked in the West.

Are you serious with this assessment? It is not just one news cycle. Let's take a look at what Biden has accomplished so far:

1) COVID Control: did a pretty bang up job initially with vaccination/mask enforcement. Unfortunately Delta has made his efforts moot lately. Net negative.
2) Stimulus: Trump wanted to do the same but got blocked by Democrats from doing so. Excessive money printing is not only causing inflation but also dissuading people from seeking jobs. Net negative.
3) Afghanistan: I don't want to beat a dead horse. Net negative.
4) Immigration: basically continues the same policy as Trump even though he promised Latin Americans refuge during his campaign. Probably will tick off people from both sides. Net negative.
5) Tariffs on China: continues the same policy as Trump (I'm beginning to notice a trend here) and contributing to inflation. Net negative.

In short, is there anything Biden admin has done so far that Trump hasn't done better, other than COVID handling?

No disrespect but you might have fallen to the US trick about having a true democracy and its people being unbiased while also having a source of independent media. In the following points I will try to demonstrate why thats not tru

Do you remember such a a wave of anti-China in the US public pre-Trump?

It is obvious that their hawkish Foreign Establishment went crazy about China and thus started a massive anti-China propaganda through the media against China.

Honest question. Do you think that the average Joe in Texas knows anything about China? What they know is what they are beign told either from Fox News or from China. That the right-wing (Republican) Fox news and left-wing (Democrat) CNN (and other media ofc) started at the same time the propaganda against China, means that the anti-China sentiment was not organic but manipulated by the establishment/Deep State.

As such, no matter what China says or does, as long as western/US media are controlled by these organisations it means that China will never be able to reach to the American people without first passing the filter of the establishment-controlled US/Western media

That's good news. You are kicking all the old people off social security, improving public finance, and increasing technology diffusion. Any lost lives are readily replaceable with immigration. If social tensions are an issue, just drag them out from Central & Eastern Europe and select for white people in Latin America.
2) Stimulus: Trump wanted to do the same but got blocked by Democrats from doing so. Excessive money printing is not only causing inflation but also dissuading people from seeking jobs. Net negative.
Nope. US states without UI are growing just as fast as US states with UI. Money printing is causing the US to grow more in USD terms than China and growing far faster than anyone projected in 2H2020.
3) Afghanistan: I don't want to beat a dead horse. Net negative.
Afghanistan is a net positive. You've destroyed their economy and now the US gets to brain drain Afghanistan and make up all the lost lives from COVID-19 by importing more, young, health and educated people.
4) Immigration: basically continues the same policy as Trump even though he promised Latin Americans refuge during his campaign. Probably will tick off people from both sides. Net negative.
Doesn't matter. As long as you place them in already diverse areas like Boston, there won't be any people ticked off.
5) Tariffs on China: continues the same policy as Trump (I'm beginning to notice a trend here) and contributing to inflation. Net negative.
Tariffs on China aren't a substantial part of CPI and the tariffs hurt China's trend growth more than the US. China grew at <6% in 2H2019, the US grew at >3%.
In short, is there anything Biden admin has done so far that Trump hasn't done better, other than COVID handling?
Biden has used the CIA to infiltrate allies and get them onboard with the US - EU-China CAI, Australia, Israel ,etc.
