I'm saying we have no reason right now to be able to reasonably talk about the CVN (004) being launched in 2025.
Putting it another way -- "estimating" the CVN/004 to be launched in 2025 is not a reasonable estimate at this stage.

None of the information and expected indicators suggest that we can expect the CVN to be launched in 2025.

"Big calls" means "making predictions and expectations that are as of yet unsubstantiated".
If by 004 you mean the sister ship of 003,yes it definitely would be launched in/before 2025,if you mean the next generation CV/CVN ,that would be later for sure

We don't know if a sister ship to 003 will "definitely" be launched by 2025. It's plausible, but not yet definite.

As for the CVN, that is what sinchiki was referring to in his reply and I made it very clear that was what my reply meant as well -- I wrote "CVN (004)".

I don't think there should be any confusion as to what we were referring to in the latest posts.

I would say 2024 for this thing to be commissioned. Of course IOC would take longer.
I think once people see J-15 and KJ-600 launched from it, they would be satisfied. Getting the ship into the water or starting sea trial would be quite satisfying too, sure.

It will be a sister ship in JiangNan yard before DaLian complete its nuclear production line, build a single ship of its kind isn’t PLAN’s tradition and there’s still some time for JiangNan to build another one cuz after DaLian’s modification,004 would be in construction immediately.E280D8A6-CD31-479A-9D1D-3A17A5E5B4E0.jpeg1882611B-A605-4E1D-96B6-DD640C370656.jpeg944BD41B-F9DB-42BC-87B8-010E74B6666E.jpeg

I see, thanks for your explenation. But I mean the next CV "004" may launch before 2025.
If you feel uncomfortable, I apologize and don't care about it~
By the way, the "Big calls" is a American Slang?

That is more reasonable.

It is indeed "possible" (but not assured or fully expected yet) for the next conventionally powered carrier to be launched by 2025.

There's nothing to apologize for, the only point of my post was to show that there is no reasonable expectation for the CVN to be launched by 2025.

It’s the oversized Russian design made people think that a CV’s island must be big,and Soviets did that cuz 1.the radar&computers and other electronic devices were huge 2.pilots and senior members’ room were in the island.
And by moving the rooms inside the ship&better electronic devices, you make the island smaller, actually american ACs always have a little island no matter they were nuclear powered or not
Ohhh, I was shocked by “Pilots and senior members’ room were in the island”.
Now I don't feel weird anymore lol
