Now a clear version of the image released yesterday showing the stern and parts of the port side of the Type 003 aircraft carrier, but - as expected - IMO it does not look like a third elevator!

wow this is really clear. Apparently the gaps are not elevator gaps, probably just for small boats. I gotta say the carrier looks cool with these sharp and defined edges.

The best photos are those that should never be shown.

Technically true, but I also think we on the non-Chinese PLA watching boards only have our existence and discussion enabled by the willingness of the Chinese PLA watching boards to share.
On rare occasions if there are distinct medias and information that are explicitly wished to not be disclosed, I think as a matter of etiquette and mutual respect, that those wishes should be honoured.
And at the very least, disabusing any sense of entitlement would be a good first step.

Indeed, seems as if if @louischeung_hk was declared a "persona non grata" for leaking this image....

It's a petty sense of entitlement from some Chinese users who don't realize how easily information gets passed around the internet nowadays. Many Chinese forumers still express surprise or suspicion that we can access and repost their pictures so quickly. The GFW and the language barrier are the reasons why they are used to a sense of insulation and sheltering from the attention of the "outside web".

Sooner or later they will have to wake up and accept reality. Once something is shared or uploaded anywhere it is no longer private. Something posted on a Chinese site can easily be linked to an English site and vice versa. If they were really concerned about "security" then the OP should never have shared it anywhere in the first place.

What speaks the loudest is the fact that we have lurkers here who are Chinese forum members, and members here who are Chinese forum lurkers. Even if all Chinese users were unwilling to share certain content, it's only a matter of time before it fully circulates the Chinese domestic circles, and when an international user comes across it he will share it wherever the hell he wants.
