Anyone smarter than me that can measure the width of the deck? I can't lol
I just realised(If I'm wrong, sorry my eyes are bad) In the pic I quoted from my last post, the length between the aft and port side modules seems more spacious even though the pic was taken today(maybe?) Compare to this photo of it taken some time ago:

In that photo, there isn't a starboard module added compared to the latest pic so it's possible it was taken before the latest pic. Now, I'm likely wrong and it's just optical illusion or something.

It's a petty sense of entitlement from some Chinese users who don't realize how easily information gets passed around the internet nowadays. Many Chinese forumers still express surprise or suspicion that we can access and repost their pictures so quickly. The GFW and the language barrier are the reasons why they are used to a sense of insulation and sheltering from the attention of the "outside web".

Sooner or later they will have to wake up and accept reality. Once something is shared or uploaded anywhere it is no longer private. Something posted on a Chinese site can easily be linked to an English site and vice versa. If they were really concerned about "security" then the OP should never have shared it anywhere in the first place.

What speaks the loudest is the fact that we have lurkers here who are Chinese forum members, and members here who are Chinese forum lurkers. Even if all Chinese users were unwilling to share certain content, it's only a matter of time before it fully circulates the Chinese domestic circles, and when an international user comes across it he will share it wherever the hell he wants.

What makes the fuss even more ridiculous here is that the picture in question, looks to be taken from a public accessible area.

ie. Anyone with a camera could have passed by and snapped that picture. It is the literal definition of OSINT.

If the shipyard/PLAN/State was truly concerned, that drydock will have been under wraps and not openly visible to all satellites and anoraks alike.

Truly much ado about nothing

Ok, this makes sense, thank you.

Translation: The real problem is that he (@louischeung_hk) abuses photos taken by other people for personal gain (I assume reposting without giving due credit) and was declared persona non grata after ignoring multiple warnings to stop.

Although, this still has nothing to do with where an image gets posted to...

on the lastest photo, there are 4-5 prefabricated module next to 003. They look like part of catapult, tip of starboard overhang, port side anti-air landing(what is the correct terminology?) and not sure what the last piece is. Is it another part of the starboard side overhang?
