Frankly, the image quality is so poor that many features are probably obscured. Also, this is an enhanced version of the original, which was unusably bad.
It's there, the overhang can be seen at the stern. But the quality is so bad colour wise it kinda melts into the background.

Of great interest are the gaps in the overhang, which indicate a possible third elevator. The image is of too poor quality (intentional or not) that no indication of these gaps can be made out.
From what I have seen in the most recent overhead shots (which were also not shall we say great) the gap has been closed. So I am leaning to no portside elevator at this stage.
Hmmm?? ... I must admit I don't understand everything he tells, but for me these blurry images are too blurry to identify anything!
He's just doing more measurements of total length (not waterline length) including the recent addition of modules for the hull on top of the bow.
Frankly it's a bit of a idle effort, given the overall length will continue to grow the more they build up the hull until they reach full flight deck length (which on Ford CVNs is nearly 340 metres).

Exactly........if the Chinese were as paranoid as some, about the length of their Carrier being a bit longer than anyone else's Carrier, they would of made it that bit longer from the onset of the design.
Why not? It's a d**k measure contest. A lot of fragile ego/pride are on the line.
