I borrowed a drawing from @Totoro and, with a view of the clearly visible openings in the fuselage, plotted the approximate location of the presumed elevator. I don't think an elevator will get there.

That seems to be too low on the side of the ship to be an elevator opening. The bottom of the elevator opening should be no lower than the hanger deck.

The image is to blurry to clearly say there is or there isn't an aircraft elevator on the port side. It is even to blurry to say there are two elevators on the starboard side. But the aircraft on the starboard side parked as aircraft positioned on an elevator.

Somewhere in this thread or forum exists a very early sketch of 003 with three catapults and two elevators. Who draw this sketch, should have seen a better version of the blurry image.

I think the "hole" is just the wall of the hull. As we saw from the sat photos, two ledge pieces are installed but a gap remains between them, for anothe ledge piece to be installed. Without that piece, for now, there is this appearance of something there. But in fact the color of the area is the same as any other part of the non-ledge hull.

The opnening of an elevator reaches one deck lower than the hangar deck:



The doors of the opening are at hangar deck level, but not the visible opening in the outer hull.
