Does this mean that they are starting to assemble the modules? I had only seen one module in that place.

Whoops, my bad. I don't remember seeing that one before so I assumed it wasn't from that long ago.
Please edit it out of my post if possible. The two sketches are recent.
This carrier isn't being built like how 002 was built. They will assemble smaller modules into multi-thousand-ton big modules before piecing them together in an assembly yard. What you see in that sketch are two 'small' modules being put together to make a larger module, which will then be transferred elsewhere (most likely a drydock) for final assembly.
The hull design of this completely Chinese design will probably be extremely advanced, having used computer modelling, with China having the World's fastest supercomputers, and extensive hydrodynamic tank testing and analysis. It may be one of the best hull designs in the world. It will be exciting to see it perform.
