As it turns out, this is not the dry dock where the modules appeared. Then again, the claim originated at Pakdef forum.

So to answer your question, not legit at all. Be extra careful with any claim made at Pakdef forum.

The rumors from the Chinese boards is that modules are being prepared (we already saw a QE-style modular section under assembly), and the final assembly of the hull will begin before EOY for the JN 003 (around November IIRC). Not sure about the one in DL, assembly will probably start mid-2019.

Well when the first modules are laid or you can say when the first module is put into the dry dock that is modern equivalent of keel laying

After that we know the Chinese shipyard work like clockwork, highly synchronised, organised and unprecedented speed

I reckon they will show tremendous speed again like they did with 002, Chinese shipyards are about to break some records I think

002 first appeared in March 2015

April 2017 showed the launch

April 2018 started the sea trials

for 003 the construction technique is different

First modules spotted summer of 2018

I say launch is in summer of 2020

and sea trials in 2021

DL might follow a year later with 004

005 and 006

I say work starts in 2020 at JNCX

Launched in 2023 followed by trials in 2024

DL follows a year later with 006

from 2015 to 2025 China adds 5 carriers to its fleet maybe not all commissioned but 5 never the less

Agreed, esp since that certain member is nothing more than a strong nationalist, a pure fan boy and proven boaster.

If that rumour would have been posted from other members - and there are indeed a few ones even at the PDF - it could be a possibility, but surely not him.
