Any updates on construction??
CV-16 and CV-17 done and sailing
Now I want to see movement on CV-18
First steel cut last year modules should appear in dry dock next year ??
80,000 tons EMALS with conventional power ??
From what I've read the CV-18 began steel cutting 2016 and CV(N?)-19 began last year in December.
I've read that the CV-18 began steel cutting in the summer of 2017, paused for a while, and then resumed later.
I don't think that photo exists as Ulyanovsk was never launched: her hull was incomplete on the slipway when work stopped due to the fall of the Soviet Union. As I recall Varyag was 70% complete in 91 and Ulyanovsk only about 40%. She was scrapped in situ without ever touching the water:There’s a photo from the Soviet times which shows the Ulyanovsk with the two Kuznetsov?
Anyone got that photo ?
