To that, I have said "one has to do what one must". That is the usefulness, in my other replies to you I've said multiple times, the highway is the strategic blood vessel between the two countries. What else could be more useful than this? It is about life and death.

I think in your thinking, you DO NOT see the importance of Sino-Pak relationship as much value. That is why you keep on "fighting against" the highway. If you are interested in that subject, I suggest we continue in the other threads for this purpose, there are two ongoing, as this is really OT for CV-17.

Agreed. OK, let's continue on "One Belt, One Road".

New and, I think, the best pictures so far of 001A.

Compared to Liaoning from same angle:

Wonder why they didn't make the island smaller, just enough to accommodate a couple more J-15s.

I believe it is the objective, 9m shorter would be enough tyo put extra 2 J-15 (remember 001 also has extra space, but not enough to put extra J-15 but with extra 9 m would solve the issue) .... anyway if it was me I would try hard to achieve that objective .... and I dont see why it can't be done

The 9 meters are not exact. But if it is only space for a salvage truck or a helicopter, it is more space! The Chinese looking for more space, they are optimizing air operations. The next step - may be on the next ship - is to bring more other weapons away from the carrier to the escorts.
