I'm not sure that CV-16 should be used as a benchmark for future carrier schedules. She was a highly unusual project in many respects and I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was reflected in an unusual testing/trials/commissioning process and schedule.

According to Icloo not only touch and go but there is burn mark on the deflector
Touch n Go, wire arresting landing and take off are evidenced in looking at the photo deeper. There is burnt mark on the take-off deflector,
