Is CV-17 grey a shade darker than the standard PLAN grey we see on CV-16?

I think this is an optical illusion.

i don't think it is an optical illusion. Notice the strip down the funnel still show two tones, with a lighter tone covering welding seams, and darker tone in between welding sseams. I will guess the lighter tone is the final coat, the darker darker tone is some sort of base coat on top of any risk inhibiting primer.

I think the 4/23 date is accurate especially if they put some serious elbow grease this weekend and all of next week. The remainder scaffoldings make her look unfinished but those can literally be taken down at the very last minute. The same goes with the ports potties, temp storage units, and other construction equipment on her deck. 1/2 day max to remove them.
