Now we talk about the stern.
I asked a few times before but everybody skips me or i was to blind to notice.
What are the 2 brooms and the hollowed section for?

You mean the indentation in the center stern? My educated guess is towed variable depth sonar.

I had some pictures in my collection but just can't find it now. The two outer booms are from what I could make out are gangways and as for the center section, if the Admiral loses power a pusher tug could be called upon for a push or for a freighter to come up and unload things the ship might need.
I could be wrong but I guess that's my 2 cents.

The two vertical recessed strips (if that's what you mean by "brooms") are indeed retractable gangplanks. As for the hollowed section, I'm not sure what the original intent of this area was, but the Liaoning currently uses it as space for storing ship bumpers.

Well, let's look at the Liaoning first, instead of the Kuznetsov:

...now lets zoom in on the stern where you are talking about:

You can see that the two section to either side, that extend down through the railing/openings there on the stern have pivot points at the bottom and they will both lower down to be entries or gangplanks into the ship.

The recessed area shows you on this picture the buber pads it has there.

Quite interesting that those are gangways.
Never saw a carrier intended to moor with her rear to the guay

That area is just a storage place for bumpers; it does not mean the carrier's stern docks with the pier. The concave shape means that those bumpers wouldn't be able to contact the pier anyway.

This is sort of like the J-20 thread. We know good and well something really neat is going to happen and we end up making small talk and talking about other things waiting for it to happen.

LIFT THE ISLAND!

Come on PLAN, and Dalian, you know the folks here at SD are waiting, and we have got to be a high priority for you guys! LOL!
