It is the theoric CAW usual after... !

Still I wouldn't surprise if they carry more than 13 . They have huge storage underneath the deck. You think they are empty?
I doubt it . This is their final exam so I imagine they want to be as close as normal operation tempo and operation load to convince the brass of the readiness of the Liaoning

I believe they have almost assuredly had 20 onboard at once, and perhaps 24.

We see 13 and that's the most we ave seen on deck...but they could have more in the hanger, and there could be at least two flying patrols.

So I believe it has happened...but seeing 13 is still impressive. This year saw them go from us having seen a maximum of four or five to us seeing a maximum uf 13...so far.

I have an other oppinion. 13 was the maximum until now. And it was for a photo shooting.

The hangar was empty at that time. Staying on board for a longer journey was not trained until now, maintenance was not trained until now.

The past exercise will be evaluated. Afterwards, we will discover small changes on the ship. The next exercise will then be somewhat more extensive.

We have seen their tech doing maintenance work before now on other exercises and cruises they have made.

Id do not know if more than 13 were aboard on this cruise...I just know there easily could have been...and there could have been on other occasions as well.

Now that we have high-res image of Liaoning with 13 J15 on board we can clearly see there is ample of room between the edge of landing runway and J15 park next to it on the stern side.

Those 2 J15 park next to the port side need to go for simultaneous take off and landing operation.
Plenty of room behind the jet deflector
