I was referring to the person who posted the tweet, Zhao Lijian. He's not a diplomat, just an anti-American firebrand. He's the Chinese equivalent of Mike Pompeo, and one of the key messages of Chinese diplomacy at this moment should be 'Look! We're not Mike Pompeo'.

Yes as I said earlier. Zhao should be fired immediately. He's just a terrible terrible person.
I don't see how it's off-topic. This is the COVID-19 thread, Zhao tweeted about COVID-19 and I reacted. Or is it only on-topic to criticize American conspiracy theorist/racists but not Chinese ones?

You compared the guy to Mike Pompeo and you also called for him to be fired. I don't think it would be okay for someone to post an article that painted Pompeo in a bad light and then called for him to be fired in this thread on this forums. Such a post surely may be deemed off-topic or inappropriate or engaging in the realm of politics by the mods on here if standards and precedents were applied evenly and consistently in an objective and non-biased manner.
