Would like to know people's thoughts on the following.

1. During the first SARS crisis, people went crazy for HEPA filters/Air cleaners like the IQAir. From what I can see, they remain popular now, but seems only with Asians (and some Middle Easterners).

In Canada, places of business are going crazy building shields and cubicles, but it would probably be better served with more ventilation and air cleaning maybe? The government was doing this in schools, but I hear no guidance otherwise in this matter.

2. Maybe this requires someone with a little more knowledge. Governments all over the world keep saying "CONTACT TRACING!", but are they actually doing anything with the data for the general population? One of the reasons it worked so well in China (and elsewhere in Asia), is strict quarantine enforcement right? Even looking at the pro sports in the USA, they had a few outbreaks, but were generally able to contain things (usually within a team/club) due to stricter protocols and mass testing.

Again, looking at where I'm living, only today they will announce the names of businesses that have outbreaks... I get that it can affect the privacy of individuals, but honestly just seems like it should've been common sense to do this a long time ago. Many people have made such comments online already.

Just got vaccinated (Moderna). So far so good. No adverse feeling yet. Fingers crossed. I will get partial protection in 5 days. And I will get my second dose in Feb. Finally, a little perk of being a part of health care system... Being exempt from any lockdown orders, I have never taken any time off even in the height of the pandemic, while everyone else enjoys their time working from home... Finally got something that others may be a little jealous about, I guess.

On another thought, I am acting as a guinea pig for all of y'all... I guess I lose either way... Oh well, I am glad to be of some use. Guess I'm a glass-half-full kinda guy...

Apparently the first dose is normally low risk for adverse feelings. It's the 2nd dose that gives fevers and swelling in arm, but only lasts a day. Keep us informed.
