It seems that Mr president already feels better and about to be discharged. However, a number of opinions stated that the "feeling good" is caused by a quite strong steroid. The effect may wear off in a week and the after-effect might be "unpleasant".

Obviously he wants to get back on his feet ASAP due to elections related pressure. This might be damaging to his health in the long term though.

No it’s fine, she is directing the message to ‘#president’, which is Trump’s Twitter hashtag, and there isn’t much you can do with that without breaking the hashtag. Maybe she would have dropped ‘the’, but it’s so minor as to he silly, after all, it’s not like she said ‘my president’ or ‘our president’.

Poll: Many Americans blame virus crisis on US government

  • A new UChicago Harris/AP-NORC poll finds Democrats are about twice as likely as Republicans to say the U.S. government has a great deal or quite a bit of responsibility for the current coronavirus situation in the U.S.

WASHINGTON (AP) — More Americans blame the U.S. government instead of foreign nations for the coronavirus crisis in the United States, a rebuke to the Trump administration's contention that China or other countries are most at fault, a new poll shows.
The poll by The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research was conducted before President Donald Trump tested positive for the virus Friday and was hospitalized. Trump has downplayed the severity and impact of the pandemic in recent months.
Although many see plenty of blame to go around and there's a wide bipartisan divide over who is responsible, 56% of Americans say the U.S. government has substantial responsibility for the situation. That compares with 47% who place that much blame on the governments of other countries and only 39% who say the same about the World Health Organization.

I'm not expert in English; however, I think the term "the President" Hua uses here is not correct because Trump is the US's president, not her president. So, I think the correct term should be "the US President".

She doesn't need to specify the "US" President because that's what her first sentence is for. Once you set the context, there is no need to repeat yourself. If her first sentence was referring to "Zimbabwe", for example, then you'd know she was referring to the President of Zimbabwe in her last sentence.

Not so sure about that, a great many still blame "other governments", which is pretty certainly China, for COVID. You can believe both the US government and other governments caused the crisis. They're not mutually exclusive.

I am generally pretty positive towards the CCP and how they have handled COVId. But the one thing that still makes me angry is that China KNEW that wild animal markets were unsafe and a vector for viruses. Because SARS came from a wild animal market and is also a corona virus much like COVID-19. Why did the CCP not learn it's lesson from SARS and decisively shut down this industry?

-Its extremely dangerous

-It's not a massive contributor to GDP. Compared to the trillions lost in economic output.

-It's barbaric, disgusting and ruins China's international image (which first world country believes in things such as eating wild animals for superstitions)

-a small group of people who eat wild animals is exposing everyone to risk of a new virus.

I hope the CCP finally learned their lesson and will throw anyone who partakes in the wild animal industry in prison.

harsh punishments and Strict enforcement is needed.

If you sell wild animals - 100 year prison sentence

If you buy wild animals - 100 year prison sentence

If you eat wild animals - 100 year prison sentence
