Indonesia inks deal with China on virus vaccine supply from November

Indonesia and China agreed Thursday that a Chinese pharmaceutical company working with a state-owned Indonesian drugmaker will send up to 40 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine to the Southeast Asian county starting in November.

The agreement was announced by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi in a virtual press conference after a meeting with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.

"A commitment was agreed on the supply of vaccine bulk up to 40 million doses from November 2020 to March 2021," Retno told reporters, saying the agreement was signed between Chinese drugmaker Sinovac Biotech Ltd. and Indonesia's PT Bio Farma.

Since last week, Indonesia has been conducting the final, phase 3 clinical testing for the COVID-19 vaccine candidate in the West Java provincial capital of Bandung.

The trial is taking place with the cooperation of Sinovac, which developed the vaccine candidate, with support from Bio Pharma and a team of Indonesian scientists and researchers.

And we seen the response made in quarantining and incredible speed of organising and building hospitals and facilities in holding and treatment.
And may in time, hold and halt this virus totally in China.
We also see the mocking and laughters and demonising of China's efforts , despicable cartoons in guise of free speech to laugh and the taking advantage of this to further rub the face of China in the mud.

BUT

The next phase is inevitable. Not that I wish for that to happen, but happen that will be.

That virus is now already in many countries and with the fore warnings given by China. Despit the warnings, are those countries capable and able and have the dedicated expertise shown by China in containing and holding and treating this virus? Can USA, or any other country , build hospitals from bare fields and equipt that in a matter of days?

Perhaps so, but sadly, not to the extent demonstrated by China.

In the days and weeks to come, that virus will be spreading and spreading in USA, in Denmark, in Europe , in Africa , India and Australia.
Chinese and China and all decent folks will sorrow and pray for them and help them best they can in USA, Denmark and others .
And maybe, hopefully, the insults and savage mockery they shown to China will stop as they all desperately trying not to be sick and die themselves.

Chinese and China and all decent folks will not be mocking and laughing and taking advantage or insulting them the way USA, Denmark and others had done and still doing to China in the initial crisis.


We will wait , and see.

You recalled my writing of above on Feb 5 about 6 months ago?
To the utter disbelief of many of the folks here? (and everywhere else and the shellacking I gotten from my WhatsApp chats)

Phase 2 is going full swing with D doing his best in leading USA head and shoulder above all others to the forefront of the pack. And India racing up the charts to stand shoulder to shoulder with D .

And what do we see in Wuhan sights we never could have imagined on 5 Feb?

China must be careful, it is dealing with a hostile country full of sociopaths.

It’s not like this is any new news and the idiot should have known that China has been doing this for since almost half a year ago as reported on cgtn. He is going to be the reason that the USA sinks in the next few months and there nothing he can do to stop it.
