It's more than just reporting, you clearly haven't got the hang of reading the western MSM.

Typical western MSM BS reporting. They just search the ‘Chinese internet’ to find the random post that says what they want to hear, and cite them as if it is some kind of magical window into the soul of everyone in China. That’s like someone using random 4chan and Reddit posts as sources for reporting on the west.

Also, notice how when there is overwhelming evidence of popular support for the Chinese government that even they cannot easily censor or spin, they just bring out that tired old line about how China’s internet is tightly controlled to discredit proscribed public opinions in China.

And noticed the way the headline reads.. it already directing and leading readers to a train of thoughts that's criticle to the CCP!

The number of confirmed cases seems to have plateaued. Typically they added 3000 people of confirmed people everyday. Except yesterday, only a couple of hundred were added. The whole country going into qurantine really helps.

Expect to see the number of confirmed cases basically only grows slowly then reverses or stops (depends on how the number is tracked). Also death numbers and released from hospital numbers to go up and plateau as well.

What's your evidence? That was actually ramped up 2 weeks ago. Considering the country has been on lockdown for over a week so minimal transmission. Anyone who will show sympt should be shown it by now or very soon in the next couple of days.

i live in US for more than 30 years, yes i know how they report, i have seen media put negative news on their own government, lib or right for years and years. so yes its reporting, not everything is sunshine and flower. beside media is private business, they do exaggerate things sometime to get max viewer.

look like aussie/US and other country either close border or ban flight from china. i dont recall ppl become this panic during swine flu 2009, which has something around 500,000 death worldwide.
i hope after this is over China come up with better procedure/ways to manage wet market to reduce the chance of this happen again in the future.

The company said it can produce kits for 4,000 people a day, and the city government is helping the company expand production.

The 3k/day suspiciously is in the same magnitude like the test kit manufacturing.

The other method is to do CT(chest xray? ), but that have upper limits well, I think in the range of the test kits (otherwise there is no need for test kits ) .

And not all tested will be infected, so if they can test say 8k / day then the observed new infections will be between 0-8000.
So, 3000 is about the expected confirmed new cases with full busy testers.
