Yes, if China is accused of setting up a trap, as SouthernSky seemed to have maybe implied or inferred, the real question is we need to explore the same standard of scrutiny in that regards to examine insofar as the possibility of a hostile nation potentially smearing or even framing China with a false-flag event of sorts. Just because the virus was first discovered in Wuhan does not mean it originated from China and it sure as heck doesn't prove it was either an accidental and/or intentional leak from the Wuhan labs as some prominent foreign senator was repeatedly sprouting from the getgo on day zero, to me the more likely scenario is that some powerful hostile nation set China into a trap and in hopes of turning world opinion against China is more like what really happened here.
I said this once and I will say it again.
Logically speaking, if containment in China was a total failure, then you would naturally see huge outbreaks in the other major cities, but this did not happen. Playing devil's advocate, the argument could be made in this case that the PRC government has the ability to cover this up.
Following this, you would shortly after also have huge outbreaks in cities/regions/countries that have major Chinese populations such as Taiwan, HK SAR, Singapore, Vancouver, California, Toronto etc. as those articles show, that did not happen. In this case, the news would be out of reach of the PRC, so this cannot be covered up.
From the last linked article
“At the time, she was asymptomatic,” Dr. David Williams told reporters at a news conference held Friday afternoon. “During her time in her own location she noted some symptoms and did the correct thing.”
“Throughout this time, protocols and procedures were followed excellently in such a way that there has been no risk at all to Ontarians or the health system in this process.”
That was printed in Jan. 31, by then human to human transmission had been confirmed, and Chinese people (both Chinese nationality and ethnically) were already taking precautions. As a result, there were no other cases in that Canadian city at the time and for weeks after.
The only logical conclusion that can be made in this case is that containment policies (or lack of) elsewhere failed.
