They stated it is based not on spread inside China but on spread outside of China. US hasnt even gotten a new case per CDC. 1% globally. What spread??

It is not binary or black and white, each nations pursues an optimized maximization strategy. It simply maximizes Canada to benefit from Chinese trade while scoring points by badmouthing China at the same time.

Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm just pointing out the two-faced stance of the Canadians. At the moment China tolerate this. But it will come a time it won't! I've lived a long life, mostly in the west. And this kind of things is really upsetting. Because I don't think the west is the "enemy". But yet the west keeps treating China so. So all I ended up doing is defending China, and.............. wait for it....... get accused of being a west hater, which is why we get treated like an "enemy"!

One little suggestion. To avoid potential stereotyping and discrimination, the WHO and all other international health care bodies have decided to avoid using the name of the originating location (cities and countries) in the name of a virus. I would suggest that we stop using "wuhan virus" and ...

My interpretation of your above post is that you disagree with my suggestion not to use Wuhan? Am I right? Clearly, the official name of the virus (not given by the Chinese, but given by the international health care authorities) does not include Wuhan. I suggest that we should stick to the official name. I don't understand why you find that inappropriate...
