Love this video from Hong Kong police giving messages of support to Wuhan.
I particularly like the way they mentioned 中國同包 fellow compatriots, one even went further saying 兄弟姐妹。Fellow brethren. What a refreshing change from all those traitors down in Hong Kong calling for independence, etc.

That's what I heard. They are tourist from China. The problem is the probably had the virus with them, and knowing those med cruises, they will visit all the ports and come into contact with all the locals!
Yes but its all about "criticality".... megacities have the sort of density required for a virus to start the growth chain reaction, but infecting some locals in faraway remote islands etc during some port stops just isnt the same, it will just quickly fizzle out on its own.

Russia has low density population, and no cases so far. Dont see it going "critical" with them. Not sure why putin made this move, seems odd

Just what is with these Canadians? Perhaps some Canadians here care to explain. @solarz why do they feel they need to play politics at this time with this virus? But not only that, it is being two-faced about it. I mean if you really support Taiwan.
Fine! Then just make that chioce and cut all your ties with China. Stop trading and profiting from China! Have convictions in your belief, and cut yourself off from the largest market in the world, and go work with a 20 million populace market..... a bit like your own!

It is not binary or black and white, each nations pursues an optimized maximization strategy. It simply maximizes Canada to benefit from Chinese trade while scoring points by badmouthing China at the same time.
