Coronavirus 2019-2020 thread (no unsubstantiated rumours!)

No time to build camps. Hotels ,military barracks , or anything else.
In the meantime build something more comfortable for them .

But it would affect only the ones living with family members, best part of them live alone, they need only elevated support, they are the ones need the masks for themselves and visitors, the visitors need constant checking of virus and so on .

I know an old, high risk lady who keep an eye on grandkids during half terms .

Guess who will keep an eye on them if the schools close ?
I'm struggling to grasp your suggestion, but let me try ... perhaps you would've separated elderly persons from the rest of population; elderly would've been kept wherever possible, while younger people would've lived as before? you may correct/elaborate

It is not only the toilet paper.

The shops started to ration all basic foodstuff, but best part of the time there is no paste, sugar, flour , water, long life milk caned food and so on. In the morning everything is OK, but in few hours time nothing left.
The shops try to fill up the shelves, but they are slow.

The price of isopropyl alcohol went up from 2-3 pounds to 30-40 pounds, if it is available.

That is joke, my leftover 3 litre has a value over 120 pounds. At least it will last for a while, but I have to restrict the use of it .
The madness will last for half year in good case, and I need 0.5 litre/month. Maybe I will use vodka for simple cleaning : D That is cheaper .

IT supposed to be way cheaper than the consumable alcohol, now it is cost close as much as the same amount of JAck Daniel.

The denatured alcohol has the same fate.

I have no clue where everyone put all of those stuff, making furniture from the toilet papers and pillows from pasta bags ?

The eggs disappears as well .

Good time to be in the grocery business .

It's just like hurricane seasons. People buy then return if hurricane isn't as bad as touted by fear mongering fake news media.

In the current situation, they should be afraid of losing Chinese made goods. Food and other things made in the US should be fine since there's a high degree of automation.

Yes.

Principal problem is the kids mainly without symptoms, but most likely infectious, as the best part of infected other generations up to 60.

Evaluation of risk, and removal of the persons from the population.

No other way, it will infect everyone in Bangladesh, India, Africa and so on, so not possible to keep out of the borders.

And they young, means there won't be too much symptoms in the carriers. IT will persist in Africa like the chickenpox does it now everywhere .

Too optimistic.

Italy bigger issue, they making lot of food processing machines, means full lock will have bad effect for many foodstuff making industry.

But there are countless other businesses,

If Spain close there will be other , unexpected consequences as well.

So , hoarding the food makes sense.

If you look at places like S. Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, they appear to be able to beat the virus at the containment level. Italy, Europe and US are way pass the containment stage. You simply cannot apply the same strategy once the cat is out of the bag.
WHO disagrees with you, and more specifically, points out that China "contained" it when it was already "out of the bag". Not to the same extent as in Europe and the US, but you did have infections in almost every province, and several provinces ended up with over 1K infections.
Do you think that people in the EU and in the US are willing to download an app that allows the government to track their every move?
Am I the only one who uses Google maps???

I otherwise agree with everything you said.

Simple soap water can destabilize the lipid membrane of current corona virus, effectively killing it.
Wash your hand and face.
Don't do it too much though. It might change the PH of your skin and you might end up in a worst possible situation.
