Pretty much everyone I know who took mRNA vaccines suffered strong side effects of flu like symptoms after the 2nd dose. Haven't heard any such side effects from people who took inactivated Chinese vaccines.

Misinformation, fake news, and conspiracy theories were created and popularized by MSM. No matter what China says and does would not make a difference. Everyone knows that vaccines can't no longer prevent infections. Everyone knows that China COVID is old versions such as B5 and B7 which have already infected all Westerners months ago and the new variants such as XBB.1.5 and BQ 1.1 were spreading unchecked in the West at the moment.
It isn't about vaccines, variants, or anything else. It is about demonizing China no matter what. Even if such demonized could come back and bite their ass, they would still spread rurmors, fake news and fear mongering about China. Just look at how CIA funded drug traffickers, trained jihadists and now got cozy up with Nazi fascists. They just never learned and don't care because they think they are good and the other side is evil. It is good vs evil. Why do you think the US is so obsess with manifest destiny and American exceptionalism.

As far as I can tell, it's not in their diplomatic practice to brag or go out of their way to show off. This is more a Western thing and especially so for India. These studies are peer reviewed and inactivated COVID-19 vaccines are simply not being widely studied in the West. So, anytime a non-Western study breaks the confirmation bias that Western mRNA vaccines are "superior" to the "inferior" Chinese vaccines, you have dismissal of Chinese test data just like you have dismissal of anything else Chinese related that is positive. The important thing is, China doesn't need to worry as much because inactivated vaccines don't have the same issues as mRNA with inflammation, immune system exhaustion and other problems.

Neither are western vaccines widely studied in China either. There is no/few scientific ways to make comparison studies.
China has its own numbers of MRNA vaccines to use, but the domestic market has a more rigorous standard, so it would not be easy to compare with foreign vaccines that do not have approval due to lacking efficiency and/or high body strain, because those would not be let inside the country.
