Any loss of lives let alone Chinese lives ought to be a very sad event for anyone including yourself Chinese or not. Unless of course the only thing we give a shit about is the geopolitics of our time and paying lip service to human lives as nothing but unfortunate statistics. That's just callous and barbaric and that's not how I function, am not implying or remotely suggesting you're indifferent to Chinese death.
Having said all of that, there's no one disputing here that China had to open up since the people in general has had enough being essentially contained within their already considerable small spaces. Not to mention the economic toll, social upheaval, family issues from the personal to the professional.
The issue I find is with the usual idiots and suspects that loves to come out of their homework hibernation plastering every social media and forums like this one with the usual anti-China, anti-government B.s. The Chinese government is being held to a standard that's frankly no other government or political institutions can rise up to. Wuhan flare up = CPC about to collapse, massive cover up, more cases are underreported, mass deaths hidden etc.... When all of that were proven objectively to be untrue and the scourge of Covid-19 went worldwide. China, the government and it's people were used as the main culprits from disgusting accusations of bat eating, Wuhan lab leaked theory, bio attack against America, worst 5G induced virus caused by Huawei LOL.... The next one is the vaccine between the tried and true tested technology of inactivated vaccines (Sinopharm, SinoVac) vs MRnA vaccines (Pfizer, MODERNA) and despite western societys rejection and rebellion of what was essentially a FORCED MANDATED Vaccines (against the will of the individual) western governments went ahead anyway contrary to the policy enacted in China where testing, contact tracing and isolation (Practice that were ADOPTED BY AMERICA AND THE WEST) then LOCKDOWNS with testing up round the clock. Despite these herculean efforts and sacrifices both by the Chinese people and the government the unrelenting attack and other imaginary falsehoods kept coming.
The attacks would have some merit if the countries doing the attacking have done a stupendous job in protecting their own people from infection and death. U. S. AND India have no business attacking China on covid-19 related matters PERIOD. India is said to have lost over 5 MILLION OF HER PEOPLE yet, the Indian government insisted that WHO calculations are Flawed just like any other UN studies that Indians summarily dismiss as rubbish if and when it does not align with their reality. But, India has an excuse since the country is still a developing country like China, and the health care infrastructure isn't up to the standards like those in the great and almighty U.S. where most of our persistent O.G.'s are coming from. Despite record infections and death compared to China, not to mention a looming $3.6 TRILLION crisis brought on by long-covid, vaccine related injuries and death caused by MRnA these SOB' s insist to lecture us with their decrepit holier than thou sanctimonious bullshit. So NO I WON'T HEAR THEIR BULLSHIT.
