Recent situation in China: Guangzhou, Beijing and Chongqing have been hit hard recently.
New policies:
The latest number in China's contribution to global vaccine supply:
- Guangzhou: enough makeshift hospitals and boarding houses have been build to provide 240,000 beds. There are 2 severe cases out of 30,000 infections since the middle of October.
- Beijing: 2 severe cases out of 1,100 during the recent flare-up
- Chongqing: 3 serious cases out of more than 8,000
New policies:
- Designated hospitals must have 10% of its beds in the ICU unit.
- No more frequent testing in areas that have no infection.
