To call oneself a "Patriot", one must at least be loving one's parents. Otherwise one does not love anybody except oneself, and he/she can NOT be a patriot.
Your user name also has "Han" which is the Han dynasty. You should know that 孝廉 was a creation of Han dynasty to select servent for the state. The first word of that title 孝 means filial piety, that is caring for one's parent. If one regards oneself as the decedent of the great Han, one must act up to its standard.
