Nope. The reality is that everyone wants more ICU beds and medical staff, but resources are limited and that’s not going to change. Especially for China since its still a developing country.That's plain wrong. Zero covid is necessary because:
1) insufficient number of ICU beds + associated medical staff
2) grossly insufficient vaccination (3-doses) rate of the elderly
And everyone wants a higher vaccination rate but the reality is its never going to be 100%. Especially after 15 months, its not going to go much higher than it already is.
The difference is that at least China has a large vaccinated population now whereas for countries that followed the Western model of Covid response, it was going wild before any vaccines.
