What Are the chances that the cases from X'ian are being underrereported? This feels more like Wuhan than anything else in the last two years. A national emergency.

The general rule is cases is underreported everywhere around the globe.

However, mass-graves cannot be hidden, overflowing gurneys in hospital hallways cannot be hidden, long-lines in hospitals cannot be hidden. Believe me, if CIA has satellites that can capture this info, they would have released it already like their Xinjiang genocide claims.

There is evidence that Omicron may have mutated from mice/rats then jumped to humans according to Chinese scientists.

question for you guys. Do you guys know if the rapid Antigen tests are available on Taobao? Tried searching for it using english and Chinese handles and used Chinese and overseas delivery address and none turned up. (Just trying to bypass the price gauging and massive lines for the PCR tests lol)

That’s not very likely. With that kind of lock down and the frequency of testing, if anything, it would be the most accurately tracked area in the world. What happened in Wuhan is that there was no efficient way to do testing at the start of the outbreak, so it is a completely different case. Of course the execution of the lockdown of the local government this time is disastrous, but the measures should work nonetheless.

Not sure if they are available on Taobao but for medical equipment and medicine, my suggestion is always obtain them from the formal channels. I only buy rapid antigen test from government supply channels which are cheaper and more reliable than market channels.
